Our Dear Sons and Daughters,

BUILDING O.D.A. HOUSE-An Ogbaru National Project

Greetings to you all in the famed Ogbaru tradition. We hope you would be enjoying God's blessings of good health and general well being by the time this fraternal letter gets to you.

You must no doubt by now have received some of our correspondences on the new-look O.D.A. and our focus, courtesy of Chief Victor Oduah who made our first communication with you easier.

A lot has happened since we wrote you last, particularly as regards zoning formula on political offices adopted by the O.D.A. National Assembly on April 21,2002. We hope that from now there would, in accord with our mission statement, be a dynamic two-way express communication culture between you and the O.D.A. National Headquarters, in view of our plans, which are aimed at brightening the horizon of a neglected and marginalized people.

Presently, we are in the thick of the National Voters Registration exercise. If we must below our trumpet, we have done a good job of sensitizing Ogbaru people on the importance and need of registering one's names in order to be able to vote when the time comes. For the first time our people are now genuinely feeling concerned about our corporate political fate. The exercise would end September 21, 2002.

We have now for good taken care of part of the third chapter of your letter of May 14, 2001, to "Igwes/Okakwus" on the travails of our people. Incidentally, please be advised that all correspondences from your end should henceforth be addressed to the President General O.D.A. P.O. Box 138, Atani, Ogbaru Local Government Area Anambra State Nigeria, or through our e-mail: ourmotherland2002@yahoo.com O.D.A. is the apex body for the 15 autonomous communities in Ogbaru Each community. Is represented by Five (5) delegates at the O.D.A. National Assembly. We would like you to please inform us of the postal addresses of ODA ITALY, ODA LONDON, ODA GERMANY, and any other ODA zones you may be aware of. This information is urgently needed to enable us reach out to such groupings for obvious reasons.

The following is a dream project that would on completion be a pride to all the sons and daughters of our Motherland.

By next two years, O.D.A. shall be celebrating the twentieth year of the existence of the Association. It is our desire that the 20th years of O.D.A. should have something very tangible to show for the labours of our heroes past and present. We therefore have chosen to erect what would be called O.D.A.HOUSE, at Atani.

Our calculation is that the project would comprise Secretariat, auditoriums, guest rooms including suites, warehouse, office apartments, recreation arena, lawn tennis court, boys questions, etc. It would be a Complex and a pride to all Ogbaru sons and daughters. Our projection, albeit conservative, is that the complex would cost about N 100 million.

To achieve the above objective, we are relying on all Ogbaru indigenes both at home and in Diaspora to answer the clarion call, by seeing the project as a rallying point for us all, and to donate to the Building Fund either in cash or kind or both, from the bounty of our blessings. As the apex body of all Ogbaru unions in the U.S.A, your Association is being assigned the leading role of actualizing the dream project. In other words, we are greatly banking on your Association in galvanizing Ogbaru people in the United States of America towards achieving the objective.

The official Launching of the O.D.A. HOUSE BUILDING FUND would be held at the Ogbaru Local Government Council premises December 28 2002, at 12 noon prompt. Please come with your friends and associates. Our annual International Convention would be on December 29, 2002 at Atani. The Laying of the Foundation Stone of the proposed ODA House would be performed in January 2003. If you are on Fax please let us know.

We are grateful to God for planting persons of your humanity in Ogbaru in His Infinite Wisdom, and we

pray that He would give you longevity, continual good health and increasing prosperity, as you move to iIdentify with the cause of building for OGBARU a befitting edifice unto posterity.

Greetings from the Motherland, and please reply this mail soon.

We love you.
