About The Author

Professor Emeka Geoffrey “Geoff” OLISA, a native of Ossomala, in Ogbaru LGA, was born on a Saturday in January 1927 at Owerri Nigeria, to Sir Robert R. and Agnes Idu Olisa.  His father would eventually become tenth King of Ossomala – HRH Atanmaya Robert Olisa Nzedegwu, II.  A professor of anatomic pathology, Prof. Olisa, studied in Germany, the United Kingdom.

   
He worked as a medical officer in Nigeria before becoming a professor at the Howard University in Washington, DC, USA. He eventually served in many academic and administrative positions at the University of Jos and the University of Benin, Nigeria. He is the author of many academic, historical and scientific papers. He is also the CEO and founder of Interlab Funeral Home and Interlab Publications, in Onitsha, Anambra, State Nigeria. Prof. Olisa is the Regent Atamanya of Ossomala and a foundation member of the Ogbaru Development Association (ODA). His is married with children. His autobiography, “Between Three Worlds” (2002) encapsulates, not just his royal pedigree, nobility and academic excellence, but adds very much to the genealogy of the Ossomala people and Ogbaru people as a whole.
