of Members of Ogbahu Development Union (ODU), California
I am happy to welcome you all to the Fifth Ogbaru
National Convention, and the Inauguration of the Los
Angeles Ogbahu Development Union. I hope that attendees
have by now concluded their accommodation arrangements.
The following is the itinerary for the entire weekend:
Friday
30 August 2002:
7am
to 12 midnight: Arrival of members in Los
Angeles. Depending on arrival times, we plan to get
together at the residence of the President of ODU in the
evening. At this time there will be light refreshment,
and a getting to know each other period.
Dinner:
We will then drive to the residence of Mrs. Obiora for
dinner and further getting acquainted. The times for
these events are open, as the arrival times of attendees
differ.
Saturday
31st August 2002:
9:30
to 3:30 p.m. prompt Convention starts at the
Ramada Plaza hotel.
7:00
to 1:00 pm. Dinner gala, fundraising and
entertainment. Please note the Convention hours. We
encourage all members to be punctual since that we have
a lot to cover in a relatively short time.
Sunday
1st September 2002:
9:30
to 1: 30 p.m. there will be a tour of Los Angeles
metropolitan area for interested members. Several ODU
members will be on hand to drive interested people to
some places of interest in LA.
5:00
p.m. to whenever, party at the residence of Mr
and Mrs Gerald Odiakosa at Moreno valley. Local members
again will drive others to Moreno valley from Ramada
Plaza hotel.
Monday,
2nd September
