 Dear Sir,
My name is Henry Nduka Onyiah and I come from Umuagbidi, Ogbeukwu qtrs. in Ndoni and currently reside with my family in the UK.

I literally stumbled upon your site by accident last night and was thrilled by the fact that there actually exists an Ogbaru rallying point in cyberspace.

Coincidentally I was at Atani in September to visit my grandparents and the state of the roads from Ugah junction to Atani and from Atani to Ekwusigo as an example kept me wondering what our representatives across all of Ogbaru at the various State & National Assemblies have been doing that impacts upon the ordinary lives of the people they represent as well as thinking of ways one could reach out to our representatives as a group to express my sentiments. I have been updated on the progress that has been made in this regard through one of the articles posted on your site

I believe that initiatives such as your website if sustained would in its own way contribute positively towards the economic (and political!) emancipation of our people.

I am interested in finding out if there are any branches in the United Kingdom that you are aware of. I would be very much interested in contacting them with a view to contributing my own quota as a member or joining others to start off something if there isn’t.

Please extend my warm regards to all your members and I look forward to attending the ODA convention at Atani if we will be able to travel home for Christmas

I look forward to hearing from you and would constantly visit your site with a view to keeping in touch.

Yours faithfully,

Henry Nduka Onyiah

Date: Thu, 18 Oct 2001 18:46:07 -0700

I Have been checking the Ogbaru website since I sent all my campaign materials including CD Rom that contained some of my infomations and pictures. when will it be posted in the web site. Frank Agolue has authorized it at the National level. So I dont know what is holding it back.Ike has not even sent email to me atleast acknowledging the reciept of the CD Rom I sent to him. This election is comming close. People need time to go through the website. You put in Ogbaru LGA election 2002, listed candidates and presumably waiting for the informations from us. You got the informations you requested for, from me but taking too much time to act. If however you decided not to put the informations there any more, Please be kind enough to send back the Campaign CD . ThanksChief Victor Oduah,

Ikejiani

Convention 2001 is fast approaching and I know some people are working too hard to put things together in order to make it a success. Consequently therefore, I want to take this opportunity to thank the planners. It's just not easy to plan, and I know you guys are spending your time and money to make it work. I don't know how far you've gone, but I believe you are doing a good job. Just hang in there; it'll pay off someday. Thinking of planning. What is planning? What does it take to plan effectively? What happens if you don't plan well? Planning involves research, it involves devotion and it involves predictions. This is our 4th annual convention. How were the 1st, 2nd, and the 3rd planned? What mistakes were
made that need corrections?

The convention needs to be more interesting every year to attract more people or you lose people. Atlanta was the first convention in 1998. It was fun. No family came from out of town with their children except one. People from out of town were taken to places for sightseeing (Underground, Coca cola, CNN, Tuner stadium for the Braves, Martin Luther King, Jr. Center). We could not visit all these places because of time. In Dallas, 1999, more people came. It was fun, well coordinated and so much to eat, but nothing was planned for the children. They were bored. Leadership was fatherly and friendly. In NJ 2000, it was professionally well planned, well organized, and rigidly executed. A lot of credit to technology. I am highly impressed with the NY/NJ members who took us to the web. My commendation to those skills and professionalism. The
convention atmosphere was more political with bitterness and sentiment than friendly and courteous. It was more autocratic than democratic. The fun that would drive people to the next convention was almost taken away. Leadership style ought to be flexible to suit any situation. The people who didn't have any relatives or friends were stranded in the hotel rooms, nobody to take them anywhere or ask how they were doing. Nothing was planned for the children. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. How then do we plan to reflect all these? We are supposed to have more people this year than the previous otherwise you see less people next year. We have started and we have to grow. We are the Ogbaru people and we love ourselves. Maryland, please take note of these. So far we don't have any information from you or the national body. Mr. national president, Dr. Ogbugbulu and Mr. local president of Maryland, Mr. Mbanefo how are we looking, what are we doing, what are we expecting and when do we hear from you? This assessment is personal.

I love Ogbaru, I love you all.

Emma Oduah.

On behalf of Ogbaru United, Atlanta. I deeply thank the New york/New Jersey
chapter for their kindness and generous approach towards the 3rd Ogbaru
National convention. We were highly moved and appreciate not only what you
did for the ogbaruans, but you guys too. It was a wonderful occasion and we
will always remember that. Thanks for your leadership in managing our web
site. I promise to do any thing I can within my power to keep the momentum and the spirit of the last convention up. God bless Ogbaru, God bless you guys. Take care

Thank you for your invite. Unfortunately, I am not in the NYC area - I
actually live in DC. However, I'm sure that my uncle, Victor Mbanefo will
represent us in great style!!! Good luck on the event.

Cheers,
Chinyelu

Hi Chinyelu:

Thank you for your compliments. We are happy that our Ogbaruans all over are becoming aware of our web site. We have received many mails from many Ogbaru natives expressing satisfaction that Ogbaru has a website of their own. This kind of interaction is the purpose for which Ogbaru.org [ogbaru website] was created. Now that you'vev discovered the Ogbaru website - please visit as many times as is convenient for you. Send us your comments on what you would like see in the web. We welcome constructive criticisms and material changes. Our intention is to make Ogbaru website one of the bests. For your information, Ogbaru USA Association, Inc (NY/NJ) chapter is holding an inauguration and convention on September 2, 2000. If you live around here, we will be pleased to have you in our midst. Once again, thanks a lot for your feed back.

Subject: THE UNSONG HEROES OF OHITA.

I was going through your website under the Ogbaru notables at Ohita, I was surprised not to see the names of late Mr James Okoynia, who instrumentally brought the present church to Ohita; and also his son Mike Okoynia, the first Ogbaru Disrict Officer stationed at Enugu covering the then Eastern Nigeria. Please I will like you to research these names and include them in your list of the notables at Ohita.

Thank You

Obi Boardman.
