Chief Osita Stephen Osadebe Musician/ Social Philosopher
A native of Atani. A chief, the Ogbuefi Ezeafulukwe of Atani. A renowned
musician and one of the originators of the African music beat called the High
Life. Has been on the Nigerian music scene for over forty years that he is
now considered the doyen of high life music. Has been affiliated with the key
record industries in the world including Polydor and EMI. His albums and CDs
are widely sold and well received by audience worldwide. His Band the
Nigerian Sound Makers has been one of the most dominant and resilient in the
Nigerian music scene. His Nigerian contemporaries include; Victor Olaiya,
Erasmus Jenewari, Tex Obong Henry, Rex Lawson, Ike Dairo, Celestine Ukwu and others.
